I finished all sixteen double bow tie blocks for the February Schnibbles and I just love it! So much that I ordered more charms to enlarge it. I hope they get here in time to finish it by the end of the month. So for now, it's on the back burner, patiently awaiting the mailman.
I'm half-tempted to order some yardage in one of the large floral prints for an outer border, but then I don't know what I'd do with all the strips already cut for the piano key border. I guess I could make a little coordinating chinese coin quilt with them. Hmmm.....now there's an idea. I'm really not a big fan of the piano key border on this particular quilt to begin with, so we'll see what I come up with. The large floral in this line is so pretty and I think it would make a great border. Definitely something to think about.
Sunday's Best marks the middle of the Year of Schnibbles. I wonder which Schnibbles the other half will bring?
Ooohhh, I love the colors in this! A certain someone I know has a birthday coming up...hint hint. You've got two months to finish it. ;)

Very pretty! You definitely could use the strips for a coin quilt if you purchase yardage. I love the idea of two coordinated quilts.

I like it, and I agree, making it bigger is the way to go! Which floral are you thinking for your border, the green background or blue? This family of fabric was a great choice for this pattern.

Great job on your blocks! That fabric IS lovely...can't wait to see how you decide to finish the border.
