I received the email this morning and Bill said to tell you we'll bring you the money when we see you in Skagway. Oh that's right, you'll have returned from Nigeria at that point and won't need it. Remember, it's the thought that counts. :-)

I was curious how this could happen, so I asked my computer genius son. He said that it often occurs when a person visits a suspect website, where they pick up a virus that gets into their Outlook (or other email account) and acquires all the email addresses of their friends. Hence, they can send everyone you know the "Help, I'm in Nigeria and need $2500 letter". It's very creepy, isn't it?

Don't you hate it?!? I know two other people this has happened to, including my pastor's wife. You would think they would come up with something more original. Sorry.
