Her hand quilting is beautiful, and can you imagine her delight at uncovering her mother's quilt tops?? What a great story. They will be lovingly finished - by hand, of course. Thanks for sharing.

Evidently UFOs are not a thing of just this generation of quilters.

I've been drooling over those hand pieced quilts .... wow what a treasure to find!

I remember the article in QNL and the ad for someone willing to work in Skagway .... I was trying to figure out a way that I could apply and work up there. DH and I were there about 10 yrs. ago and that would have been the job of a lifetime. Is the job still open? :o)
