Ok, so I have actually done a little bit of quilting these last few weeks amongst the packing. I almost forgot about it until I was going through pictures on my camera. (Before I packed it.) A true out of sight, out of mind moment.
This is a fairly large table runner made from Holly Taylor Classics fabrics, featuring little moose, bears and trees. It's a model for the local quilt shop. It went together quickly and was fun to make. I'm addicted to these little dresden plates and can't wait to make a full quilt. I've got a little pile of Rural Jardin fabrics that I've been saving for a Dresden quilt, and in light of recent events, it's made a significant jump up on the Quilt Wish List. I'm excited for this new phase of quilting to begin.
That's all I've got for today. I'm just taking a little break in between clearing out shelves on the bookcases. We move next Saturday, so this week is bound to be a busy frenzy of last-minute packing and cleaning. Tigger and Butters have inspected every single empty box and are completely tuckered out tonight.
Beautiful! I can't decide if I want to do the Dresden Plate next or the spider web. The Paper Roses is actually coming along with all this extra time I have. Now if I could just stop wasting my background fabric...

I love your Dresden table runner. I used Holly Taylor classics for the quilt in our trailer. We have a Northwoods theme, we have a moose and elk door pulls and the wood we used is knotty pine. Your kitties do look tuckered out. Don't forget to show pics of your new house.

What an adorable runner! I can just see it done up in some bright fall colors on a harvest theme table.
I am hoping to join you in the packing frenzy in the next few weeks. We are still waiting to hear if our loan has been approved before I start packing things up for our move. If you have any organizational tips, I'd love to hear them!
