Catchy title, huh?
I made a lot of table runners while I was in Utah. For one, Chamaine has this cute little black hall table and I think we've informally set out on a quest to dress it for each holiday or season. It's a fun adventure. It started with the fall runner a few years back, which to date, is still my favorite of them all. Then we added Halloween, Valentine's Day and moved right on into Summer.
This little runner was made from a Frolic charm pack. It's a little more blended than I had wanted, but the lights had heavy prints that made them almost read as mediums. All in all, the colors are right for summer, and the prints are too cute to pass up.
Next up was 4th of July. The scouts were having an auction to raise money for scout camp, so I offered to make a table runner to auction off. Not finding any patriotic charm packs around, we just collected some eighth yard cuts of kicky red, white and blue prints and some fun plaid for binding. And if one is good, two are better, so I made another one while I was at it. I seriously love these two little patriotic runners. They're bright and cheerful and just modern enough to keep it fresh and fun.
Chamaine got in on the action and made this super cute purple and cream table runner. She even did her own quilting, which was just awesome for her first table runner. I love the ric rac.
I think we still need to do St. Patrick's Day, Easter/Spring, Christmas and maybe something fun with snowflakes for January.
Those are great! I too have made some for every month
