It is the most bittersweet of days. Tigger was nineteen years old, and in every sense of the word, a crotchety old man. He liked things just so. But he was funny and loving and we will forever miss his sweet little face.

I am so, so sorry for you loss. They take a huge piece of our hearts with them, I know. Hugs and God Bless...

So sorry to hear about Tigger. It's never easy to loose a pet especially one you've known for so long. I still would love to have our little terrier back but she was suffering so much and I know she's at peace now.
I've had to say good bye to two animals this year too. Even if(or especially because) they have lived a long good life, it is so hard to say good bye to them. I'm still missing a sweet (also crotchety) orange kitty from a few years back. Hope you can be cheered by sweet memories.
I'm am saddened to hear that your sweet Tiger has passed. You gave him a great life and in return he made your life richer. His personality was unique and the stories you told about him in your blog brightened my day. I especially remember when you were taking him over the pass to the vets last year and you both got stuck in a blizzard. I lost my 19 yr, old Cosmo last month and his 13 year old companion the month before, so I know how broken hearted you can feel and how empty the house may seem without him, but gradually tears will be replaced with a smile when you think of him. He was well loved and taken care of. What more can a cat ask for (even a cantankerous one or one who liked things just so)? I hope there is a cat heaven where they run through endless fields of catnip, hunt countless mice and have over-flowing bowels filled with treats. Take care of yourself and thank you for sharing a little bit of Tiger with your readers.
Tigger was loved and will be missed. My sympathies on his passing. I had to put down my cat, Denis, at age 15, but feel sure if he had not gotten sick, he would have lived another five years!
Just thought I would check in and see how you were doing. I thought of you today when I found and bought a pattern you showed on the blog months ago. I think the title is called "Sew Little". It is the pattern with all the tiny triangles in browns/rust civil war reproductions. I loved it as soon as I saw your comments about it and I finally found the pattern on Ebay yesterday. I will probably get around to trying to make it latter this year when I have collected enough of the right colors. It will be my 1st quilt with such tiny pieces, but it look doable. So thank you for sharing your pattern find and inspiring me to try a challenging pattern.
