I am so, so sorry for you loss. They take a huge piece of our hearts with them, I know. Hugs and God Bless...

I'm so sorry! Losing a pet is so sad. My heart goes out to you.

As a cat lover I was so sad to read of Tigger's passing. I understand the empty place in your heart.

So sorry Allyson for your loss.

So sorry to hear about Tigger. It's never easy to loose a pet especially one you've known for so long. I still would love to have our little terrier back but she was suffering so much and I know she's at peace now.

I am so sorry Allyson. I know how much you and Butters will miss him, he was such a funny boy.

I've had to say good bye to two animals this year too. Even if(or especially because) they have lived a long good life, it is so hard to say good bye to them. I'm still missing a sweet (also crotchety) orange kitty from a few years back. Hope you can be cheered by sweet memories.

I am so sorry about your loss. I hope that you find comfort in your many happy memories of times with your dear friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can take comfort in the fact that Tigger had a long happy life with you.

I'm am saddened to hear that your sweet Tiger has passed. You gave him a great life and in return he made your life richer. His personality was unique and the stories you told about him in your blog brightened my day. I especially remember when you were taking him over the pass to the vets last year and you both got stuck in a blizzard. I lost my 19 yr, old Cosmo last month and his 13 year old companion the month before, so I know how broken hearted you can feel and how empty the house may seem without him, but gradually tears will be replaced with a smile when you think of him. He was well loved and taken care of. What more can a cat ask for (even a cantankerous one or one who liked things just so)? I hope there is a cat heaven where they run through endless fields of catnip, hunt countless mice and have over-flowing bowels filled with treats. Take care of yourself and thank you for sharing a little bit of Tiger with your readers.

It's so hard to say goodbye to a pet you've loved for so long. My heart goes out to you and your husband on your loss.

As a longtime cat lover and 'owner', I send you my deepest sympathies. It is so hard to lose a beloved cat. Tigger looks like a wonderful guy. Carol

So sorry for your loss, it is always hard to lose a much loved pet. He'll live forever in your heart. Hugs Debra.

so sorry to read that you lost Tigger. i know how much a part of the family cats can be.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We were owned by a 14 yr old grumpy cat until last year. They leave such a large hole in your life.

So sorry to hear the sad news about Tigger. When the sadness passes, the memories will make you smile.

I am so sorry about Tigger. Our Tigger was 22, (must be that name) and we still miss him. Hugs!

Tigger was loved and will be missed. My sympathies on his passing. I had to put down my cat, Denis, at age 15, but feel sure if he had not gotten sick, he would have lived another five years!

Just thought I would check in and see how you were doing. I thought of you today when I found and bought a pattern you showed on the blog months ago. I think the title is called "Sew Little". It is the pattern with all the tiny triangles in browns/rust civil war reproductions. I loved it as soon as I saw your comments about it and I finally found the pattern on Ebay yesterday. I will probably get around to trying to make it latter this year when I have collected enough of the right colors. It will be my 1st quilt with such tiny pieces, but it look doable. So thank you for sharing your pattern find and inspiring me to try a challenging pattern.

We are sad we didn't meet him, but look forward to meeting Butters! So sorry!
